Grammy-nominated composer and pianist Timo Andres takes the minimalism of John Adams and Philip Glass as the starting point for his eclectic musical language. 2024 highlights include solo performances at Carnegie Hall and NPR’s Tiny Desk, a new premiere for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, a new album on Nonesuch, and arrangements for Justin Peck/Sufjan Steven’s Illinoise at the Park Avenue Armory.

Did You Hear produces salon-style concerts in private homes, backyards and other unexpected locales, featuring bands and musicians from a variety of backgrounds and genres. The brainchild of artistic director Yeji Cha-Beach, Did You Hear offers a unique way to experience music, with performances so intimate the musicians can hear the audience listening.

Afield was born out of the desire to highlight the beautiful places and things in northern New Jersey, giving our audience moments of discovery and a sense of joy that we are all part of such a vibrant and inspiring community. Afield Events is an evolution of this idea, an attempt to create some of our own moments of beauty and delight in the local community.
